He’s loved her since they were children. She wants nothing more than to correct the mistakes from her past. Sometimes second chances come when least expected.

Gage Bonner isn’t one to stay behind and let others have all the fun. This is never more true than when he’s outdoors, feeling the adrenaline spike from sports he loves. His passion is introducing others to the various adventures in and around his family’s Whistle Rock Ranch. His downtime is spent riding, hiking, climbing, and kayaking with old friends, and there’s no one he’d rather be with than the woman he’s loved for years. The same woman who left him behind years earlier.

Noelle Crawford has been a deputy sheriff long enough to recognize good from bad, and Brilliance, Wyoming, has both. It’s a stressful job, but there’s nothing she’d rather do than help keep the town and the people she’s known most of her life safe. She has few regrets in life. The one she’s never gotten past is wondering where her life would be now if she’d followed her heart.

Having Noelle as part of his extended family is bittersweet for Gage. As much as he enjoys spending time with her, he finds it increasingly difficult to keep his feelings hidden. Her actions indicate she’s moved on, while he’s still stuck in the past.

When she’s injured in her capacity as a deputy and ordered to stay home until the doctor clears her, Noelle decides to tackle storage boxes long ago forgotten. Rifling through them, she comes upon a secret that rocks her world.

Distraught, she brings Gage in to help her sort through what she’s found. Together, they begin a journey to find answers.

Will learning the truth provide the opening each needs to confess their true feelings? Or will the end of the journey bring the end to the tight bond neither wants to lose?

The Cowboy’s Leap of Faith, book ten in the Cowboys of Whistle Rock Ranch Contemporary Western Romance series, is a clean and wholesome, full-length novel with an HEA and no cliffhanger.

Gage and Noelle went to school together and went out until she broke up with him when they left school.
He still has feelings for her, and although he’s been out with other women she still holds his heart.
Noelle is a deputy, have left the area and come back, Gage works on the family ranch but is setting up a business with his best friend, all things sporty!
Gage is trying to make her see that he’s more than a friend, but he doesn’t want to rock the boat of their friendship, and end up without her again, it’s taken her ages to act around him as they used to be. But what can he do apart from always being there for her? Noelle now realises that no one is ever going to match up to Gage, she doesn’t know how to show him she wants more, without ruining what they have. Both are very wary of showing their feelings, just in case it all goes wrong.

    Another great read from Shirleen

This is a story of second chances. High school sweethearts, broken up through college, come back together as friends, leading to love.
Again Shirleen captures the emotional turmoil of “what-ifs”. Should I, or should I not? Dare to confess your feelings, or possibly ruin a good friendship. Along the way, we have time spent in hospital, as a patient, and for family. Vehicle accidents(or not), heart attacks, bar brawls, shots fired…. Injured lost dog. Something for everyone. Possible romance with other friends. And an old flame, to light the fires of jealousy, or strengthen the trust for each other.

Noelle and Gage. Noelle is a deputy sheriff, Gage is the youngest Bonner son of the owner of Whistle Rock Ranch, they dated in high school, until they broke up before she headed to college. Noelle married a boy she met in college, but it didn’t last, and now she is a little gun shy. Gage has dated, but never found anyone to replace Noelle. Slowly, they realize they are meant to be.

I’m really enjoying this series. It’s always great to visit Whistle Rock Ranch. I loved Gage and Noelle’s story. There’s is a great second chance romance. These two have loved each other since high school but things got in the way. It was so good to watch them work things out and get their HEA. A captivating read that I read straight through.

Gage and Noelle have known each other since high school. Gage messed up big time when they both left for college, telling Noelle they should see other people. he always felt he wasn’t good enough for her. Fast forward to the present, he’s working the ranch and she’s in a dangerous job of deputy sheiff.
As always Ms Davies weaves a tender love story that always leaves the reader with a smile, knowing there is going to be a happily ever after.

Gage felt like he loved her most of his life and then it was over. Noelle loved him but walked away to another love, life and loss. This made a powerful storyline of renewed passion and the part of life they never got over. The big portion of the story is that they really liked each other and that is the reason they could take it slow and renew their love. He had lived with his family all around him. She had traveled, married, divorced and returned to Brilliance, Wyoming, a changed, suspicious person. There’s suspense, life altering mystery and love that concurs all. Thanks for an enjoyable book to add to this great series.

Gage and Noelle were childhood sweethearts. Noelle breaks up with Gage as they head to different colleges. Noelle meets and marries someone which doesn’t last. Both years later are back in their home town. Gage back home at the ranch and Noelle working as a deputy. Noelle gets run off the road ending up in the hospital. Gage helps Noelle to recover and they realize that they are still in love with each other. Neither wants to admit it because they don’t want to take the chance of losing their friendship. Lots of action, emotional events throughout the book. Truly enjoyed the read.

Gage has loved Noelle for years even though they broke up after high school, she went on to college, married, divorced, returned to town and now a deputy. When she is injured in and accident he steps up to take care of her. What happens next is a second chance, build their friendship back, putting each other first, family, and a life altering mystery.

Another wonderful book in the series!
Gage and Noelle have history, from school the she left him. She’s the only girl he’s ever loved but now she’s back can he get out of the friends zone! He’s busy with the out door activities at the ranch but he tries to include her in everything. So when she’s injured and decides to open boxes in the dusty cupboard the contents shock her so she turns to Gage. Can he face his feelings and tell her. No spoilers, get reading !

Noelle and Gage are long-time friends. His passion is introducing others to the various adventures in and around his family’s Whistle Rock Ranch. She’s a seasoned deputy sheriff. Once upon a time in high school, she broke his heart, and the rift it caused between them lasted through most of their college years. Then she married someone else, but that ended in a failed marriage that left scars no one else could see. Now that they’ve found their way back to each other, their relationship is more cautious. Along the way, Gage has developed feelings for Noelle, but does she feel anything towards him? Should he maintain a friendly distance? Could he? When Noelle is run off the road by a hit and run driver, Gage steps in to be there for her–in the hospital as well as when she’s recuperating at home. While cleaning out a closet, Noelle makes a life-changing discovery. She calls Gage for emotional support, and he offers to help her get some answers. I thoroughly enjoyed “A Cowboy’s Leap of Faith”, a great second chance romance with mystery, cowboys, adventure, and possibly a few “to be continued(s)”. I highly recommend this clean cowboy romance as well as the entire series.
I received a complimentary ARC of this book and have voluntarily given my honest opinion in this review.

While I have enjoyed all of the previous books in this series, I have been anxiously awaiting Gage’s story. Somehow I felt that since he was one of the main brothers, he would find his HEA much earlier. Now I realize that the series had to develop to the point of introducing his heroine, who was his high school sweetheart Noelle Crawford. The book begins with a bang and doesn’t let off the gas in the least. Through all of their adventures, Gage’s protective instincts rise to the surface, and he begins to wonder if love that’s lost can be found again. Long held secrets found by Noelle while she’s recovering play a role as well. Will finding the truth set them free to find true love again?

This is second chance romance, which is one of my favorite romance tropes. I actually read this book in one sitting because I found the adventure/ mystery so enthralling and Gage and Noelle’s feelings are so honest and real. Definitely one of my favorites in the series!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

    Joyce Fritz –

Being a deputy sheriff in Brilliance, Wyoming, Noelle Crawford is doing what she has always wanted to do. It comes with some regrets, but she loves what she is doing and loves the town she is striving to protect. Gage Bonner loves all adrenaline sports and for that reason, he is partnering with his friend Buck with a store supplying all outdoor supplies, as well as training and taking groups on outdoor excursions. Noelle broke up with Gage after high school graduation and broke his heart. Now realizing, could she regain his heart again or would they just have to remain friends. There was danger when she was purposely rear-ended and ended up in the hospital, and a fight with too many for one person to handle but she held her ground. Also, a family secret came to light in this story but through it all, this story has that happy ever after ending we all love and enough action to not let you put this book down.

The Cowboy’s Leap of Faith is a second chance for a couple to have the lasting love that they once thought would no longer ever happen. By Shirleen Davies, this is the tenth book in the Cowboys of Whistle Rock Ranch Series. Gage Bonner has loved Noelle Crawford for many years. That love never died even after they broke up when finished with high school. Now they are just best friends, or are they?

This wholesome “friends to forever love” story leads the reader through so many highs and lows for Noelle. She has an important but somewhat dangerous career as deputy but one she loves. For Noelle danger comes just driving home from a friends’ outing so nothing is sure in this life. Gage and Noelle are two wonderful characters who I was pulling for to find the courage to express their feelings. These are the struggles of everyday people who do their best, learn to trust themselves and others, knowing that everything can change on a dime in this life. Realistic and authentic, reminding the reader to live life with grace and love.

    Bonnie Blackledge –

Gage and Noelle have been friends for years and dated in high school. This is the story of how the two of them reconnect in a way that brings romance back into their friendship. Throughout this book, the two of them draw closer until they get to a point where they can move on to a future together. As always, Shirleen Davies writes a great story that focuses on ways that friends can come together in a small community.
